What to Expect

Woman doing paperworkState-of-the-art Chiropractic Care

Our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding. When you arrive to our Ballantyne chiropractic office you’ll find plenty of convenient parking. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

If you’ve already printed and completed your admitting paperwork prior to your first visit, great! If not, after doing so we’ll likely show you a short 5-minute video and then you’ll meet Dr. Jason Usher.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. As chiropractors in Ballantyne we’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

Consultation and Adjustment

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem. After your examination, you will then receive your first chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Usher is one of the chiropractors in Ballantyne who will adjust on the first visit.

The entire first visit usually lasts about 1 hour, depending on the level of complexity of your case.

At the second visit, you are given a review of Dr. Usher’s findings, during which the results of your X-rays and exam results are explained to you in detail. The Doctor will also recommend a plan of care tailored to your specific needs on this visit.

After your consultation, you will receive another adjustment and any prescribed therapy. You will then stop by the front desk to make your next appointment, and you’re on your way!

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length. No need to worry, for most a typical office visit may require just 5 to 10 minutes. Depending on your care plan, some regular visits may take up to an hour.

With the groundwork laid, your Ballantyne chiropractor can quickly evaluate the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way. Each visit builds on the ones before, so make sure not to miss a visit–or you may lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
